Problem Statement Observed by Client
Objective: Replacement of FPSOs Gas Export Riser.
Challenge: Client requires simulation and visualization to determine the best method for lift, and analyses of all possible risk to FPSO hull and Divers, during the process.
Value added/Benefits
Pre-visualization of Lifting methods from simulation, showed risk of damage to FPSO hull, prompting modifications to lifting method.
Animated video served as a visual brief. HSE team used this for risk assessment, focusing on areas such as suspended load, lift risk and pinch points for Divers.
